Best Times to Get Your AJ Membership

Hello jammers and welcome back to another post, in todays post I am going to be talking about the best times a year to getting your animal jam membership if you are planning on getting one. First of all a few days ago was 4th of July and the party for that has arrived! But literally it is basically the most boring party ever, because the whole entire thing is walking from one end to another in just 3 steps, nothing really interesting to buy, unfasinating fireworks, and the room is always so crowded because there is not even enough room for all the jammers to sit and watch.
Anyway on to todays topic, obviously the best times are when they have membership sales, which usually occur close to any holidays, yet they remain the same price but you get bonus diamonds, which most jammers want the most anyway. Another time is when they marked down the prices on the membership for a monthly fee, such as now for the year, you can pay 4 bucks per month to be a member for one year. A great time is during christmas, usually that tends to be the longer lasting sale because of the holiday its self and black Friday are all in the same month. Finally a really good time to get is to ask your parents for either your birthday or christmas, depending which one is better, for me I might decide to get more membership on my birthday since mine expires this October.

Pigs are Here

Hey jammers me here iceskating112 and today I am back with another update, today animal jam has added pigs, or at least in the last couple days I have not been on. In this update they are five diamonds, non member, and is perfect animal to get for anybody especially because it is cheep and cute. The pig update is like a legit update that animal jam has added and I am super happy they made it non member, its nice to see the non members smile and glad to finally get another option of animals and I think animal jam should defiantly keep making new non member animals and maybe make at least the first whole entire row available for all. Anyway here is what the look like:

Are Rare Item Monday Headdresses Over Rated?

Hey jammers it's me here iceskating112 here, and today I am going to talk about the rare item Monday headdress, but before for those of you jammers who don't know what it looks like well here it is:

These are sure beautiful items that look great with arctic wolves in general, they look amazing with the silver diamond shop spike, blue, or black spike collar. Though because they are such a beloved item in animal jam, people expect way over trades for this item, my friend tttiara had to trade so much a pink, red, and purple collar just for one item, many jammers say they are worth one red long collar, but sadly the truth is they are not even worth rare raspberry colored bow and arrows. This is because the item is sadly not even close to being a beta, even headdresses in general will probably never make the top ten rares in animal jam unless they are removed from the game. Here are some reasons why they are not beta:

1. Betas are considered from about September 10, 2010-11, but this item was released at the hot coca hut as a rare item Monday on October 22, 2012
2. Rare item Mondays in general are not very wanted or rare items, this is surprisingly wanted rare item Monday these are not that rare because you could easily just have bought it back then and when they had jammers then the real beta days.
3. So many jammer have it so their rarity is dropping, for example over the past month an increases of the people who have this item has many of them, one time I saw a person with twelve of them on trade and today I see at least five people wearing them every time I go on animal jam before like a couple months ago I rarely saw that many jammers with rare item Monday headdresses.

Unfortunately to those jammers who have this item not to make them feel a lot less rarer, you are carrying an item that is not very rare and may be over rated because the item is not beta, so many people have it now, and many jammers want it for the looks. I can see how you may want over trades because they are so gorgeous on almost any animal, like seriously this have been my dream item for almost a year now, ever since I got my first membership. Even though I understand how a bit over rated these are they still look really cool and is a dream item to most not so rare jammers like me.

I Miss Being a Non Member Sometimes!

Like many people, they say being a member is so cool and they get so much! but the truth is I kind of miss being a non member somedays because once I got my membership after a few weeks I kind of realized that the game is more interesting as a non member and that being blocked from many things, looking up to members, not having to worry about the big competitiveness of being the rarest jammer, collecting plushies, and going to random dens. Those things always very much entertained me but ever since I got my member I was getting so competitive about being the rarest jammer that I actually got mean jam a grams, got scammed which made me even more competitive and started ruining the joy out of AJ a little. That I actually quit AJ for about three months because of to much pressure of the people, the mean stuff that was going on, and people at school were teasing me about liking animal jam. Other reasons why I miss being a non member is that I think there is more things to be proud of such as when you win the best dressed, horse race, or dolphin race but, being a member all you are is I want more instead of like Yay I won I am proud.
I missed using my cute little den! When I was a non member I was very sad that I was unable to get a bigger den but, after a few months I actually really like my small house more then any other den because I think you can fit your items better, it's more cozy,  and most of all since the member dens are really big and usually have a theme then it's super hard to fill your den and make interesting. It's also hard to collect items within that theme. So the nice thing about the non member small house is that you can put so many cool items in your den in any category and make it look spectacular and your den doesn't have a theme it can be your imagination with any item!
So what I did is I switched back to my small house and put only non member items except for my den portal to make it seem more like I am still a non member. Luckily I had tan carpet to make a non member floor!
Now I am waiting for October second for when I turn back into a non member! I am going to try and keep one of my member animal though like my bird so I can easily get to places faster!

Differences of Being a Member Then a Non Member

Hey guys tonights post is about the differences of being a member compared to a non member!
So fist one big difference in my opinion is that I think it's more competitive when your a member on who can be the rarest and who can get the most beta because once you have membership you can basically have any item in your den, wear the items, which make you look rarer if you have rare items. Also another reason may because more people trade members since they think they're rare when actually I have seen rarer non members.
Another difference is that after awhile of membership you kind of start to think the game is actually more interesting as a non members in particular seem to busy trying to become rare since since they do not have as much access to things as much as members that make the game more fun and interesting because I noticed that being the rarest jammer is quite competitive especially for members.
Another difference you are very packed with many things you can have such as lots and lots of dens that are more spacious and lots of animals. I believe you can have up to 32 animals as a member. I also notice that as a member you also are more likely to spend your gems because lots of new things come out or you try and get things before the items leave such as when it had that ten days left sign.
One big difference is after awhile you forget what it is like to be a non member, even I start to forget. For example I forget that they can't dress up their pets, they can't buy as many items, they also can't have bigger dens. So sometimes I'm like why are all the non member dens small house or sunken ship? Or I am like why didn't they get the rare item Monday. That I think can actually cause bullying and is part of the reason why I hear that some non members were looked down by a member well member or non member people shouldn't do things like that. But, we hear stories like that because so many people are used to membership and having the feeling like they can have everything causes them to see someone who can't and say oh your a non member your not cool. Well that's not cool but, non member or member everyone is unique, and is a cool jammer in their own way. And that's what people forget.
Another difference is that if you have a non member friend then it makes it harder to do adventures together or talk since they don't have free chat and are unable to write their own jam a gram. Which is really frustrating at times. So I really think free write jam a grams should be a all jammer aloud thing.

My Memories of Being a Non-Member

Hey guys iceskating112 here! Like every jammer everyone was once a non member even if you were one for 30 sec you were still a non member one! What are your memories of being a non member? Well here are some of mine of being a non member!
Well first of all like many non members I really wanted an animal Jam membership and really wanted the arctic wolf and eagle in particular. Sound familier?
Next I always used to look up to members. When ever I saw members I use to be like oh wow they get so much stuff, they're so rare, they have such nice name tags, so many animals, and when I heard from my friend that you get weekly diamonds I was like so surprised and so like wow that's so cool.
I also used to love to collect plushies and try to trade them all away for unfair trades even though I knew it was unfair. I also used to like to have a den of plushies.
As a non member I enjoyed going to random dens that were members and used to be so amazed and kind of jealous to. So I would frequently say nice den you have so much space and so much stuff. I liked looking for those claw machines to collect those plushies.
I also went to many parties and try to trade as many items as I could to people which everyone declined my trades.
Some things I remember is I was always so annoyed that like 90% of the rares on rare item Monday were for members only and I was also so annoyed that you could only have up to two animals, you couldn't dress your pet or take it to the pet wash, you couldn't play the pet games either. I also was getting annoyed that the dens were tiny and that I couldn't defeat the phantom king in the adventures. I also was sad I couldn't go on the eagle adventure either. So that was basically my life as a non member!
