Scammers I was Able to Keep Track Of

Back when I didn't even know about scams and I had like 20 rare item Mondays. She said she would give me her red long collar if I gift her a lot of rare item Mondays soon enough she just left without the red long collar. Though it looks like she is not that rare now, if you check out her den and her animals tab. Though this was not such a big scam compared to the ones below. I also heard from another jammer that she scammed someone else though, but since this was a year ago maybe she learned not to scam.

Sherb was holding a giveaway, and actually gave stuff away till the fourth round of giving his stuff away, since people put the item he just gave away on as soon as the recieved it I thought this was no scam so I gifted him my rare claw and though it could make a good item since everyone said they were running out of rares, then he just locked us out, a few minutes later. Not everyone got an item like he said, and most people did not get their item back after he said at the end of all the rounds you would.

Now this scammer randomly came to my den and started being all like trust me I trust you, and not even mentioning about rares or even item in general. Then he started saying things that confused me so I ended up trading my black long wrist for a necklace, and the whole time he wanted me to do a true saying he would give me his black long collar that was on trade, that he likely scammed as well.

So thank you for reading the short stories of how I got scammed by each of these people, please be ware, report, donate, and block. Thank you!

How to Never Get Scammed Updated Version

Hey jammers! As you know many of you probably gotten scammed even if it is the smallest scam such as send me stuff to win my spikes, well they didn't say what kind of stuff so you give them bad store bought items, they walk away and leave, you still got scammed!
Well I am going to give you tips on how not to get scammed for the rest of your animal jam life!

  1. Trust trades- Ok, I don't get why people trust random jammers with their items and expect something magical to come, I mean it's just really stupid no offense to jammers who do this but I mean if you think about it all makes since why would they put a bad item on trade and say you can have my spike once you trade it equal for my necklace. That is just like asking for money to be wasted for something not useful and asking for more scammers .
  2. Send me gifts, best one wins this...Well honestly this make no since because why can't that person just add it to their trade and have someone trade it for the item, instead of gift it and not get scammed? This makes no since it's like saying if you give me the most money I will give you something priceless later. Eventually that person will just walk away with your money and not give you the valuable item. Same goes with items on animal jam.
  3. Another thing is that you should never do gift for gift either. So when people say gift for gift I send back fairly, well they don't I did that before and I sent them something like rare old hood and they sent diamond tail that you can buy in the diamond shop for three diamonds. They also try to get you to send your most valuable items such as your favorite spike band by scamming you saying I will give you something worth more like a headdress. When they don't even have a headdress. Yesterday someone told me that their trade system was broken when really it wasn't so they said if you gift me your rare backpack then I will give you headdress, they didn't even have a headdress luckily I didn't fall for it.
  4. Flash trades are just really annoying and stupid! They kind of a waste of time on animal jam because then your just sitting their doing unnecessary trades or visa versa sitting their and is stopped to trade every five seconds. This is also kind of a scam because they could quickly except but, luckily that's where the new trade system comes in handy to avoid that.
  5. Pillow clicking trades are just really awkward and kind of stupid because you are just waiting for someone take an item while your just keep on clicking an item in their den or something like that but this is where the new trade system comes in handy again to avoid this from happening. I also don't understand why people would just sit there wasting your time clicking one thing click, click, click, borrringg
  6. Overall to wrap this up, Never trust anyone online! Even if is your best friend from school you still shouldn't trust on animal jam but, online in general because people are different online then through person. Trust me this took me awhile to learn this that people are different online because they can easily lie, scam, or even post things about other people and not even get caught. They can act like a different person online and remain like that online when really that person can be very mean through person. Even worst people can act like your friend and later try to find your personal info, or try to scam you, or find you and do something bad to you. Remember when ever you are on the internet that the internet is a dangerous place and to think before your post

What It's Like When You get Scammed on Animal Jam

Hey jammers cooljammer aj here! Do you remember the day you go scammed if you have been scammed? Remember how you felt as a jammer? Well I definitely remember how it felt and scams had a very big impact on me on animal jam but not just in AJ but in real life.
I have been through many scams and believe me I have been scammed four times now part of the reason why I fell for them is because ever since I got my membership I felt like I had to compete to the rarest jammer side! Well my second scam was when someone said come to my den.  I went to their den. The next thing they said was if your gift me your outfit  and the rare glove and rare sofa you can have my pink long I am wearing. Well I did it and after that the person locked me out before I could report them. I felt so bad all was in my mind that I just lost every single rare and will have to start over. I thought about quitting animal jam for awhile. I was so sad I thought that I would look stupid out there showing up with blank animals, no rares, and no den items. I was so disappointed in my self. But, I didn't quit instead it just made me get stressed over rares and more competitive for the rarest jammer.
Soon enough one month or two later I was wondering in Jammaa looking for trades for my two wrists bad version pink and purple, well I remember this non member seal had a blue bad collar on trade commenting win my spike. So I went to his/her den seeing about ten other jammers. A few minutes later the jammer who said you could win the collar came and said who ever can trade their best for this wins. I didn't know about trust trades that much. So this is where my animal jam life fell apart. I offered the two bad shorts and the jammer just left, luckily I had time to report but then I was so sad I was on my to becoming rare. I felt so pressured so pressured to become rare that people started bullying me with mean jam a grams so I actually quit AJ for three months. I felt so sad I actually sometimes would feel tears come out. I felt like punching my self to the floor till I couldn't move.
Many scams make jammers feel bad and may cause them to quit so if you scam you should stop because first of all it's just not right and people will hate you post things on youtube talking about you scamming like everything it comes with a price and scamming in a game may effect who you will be in the future and if you still scam when you grow up you'l live a miserable life.

Why NOT to Scam on Animal Jam+ Win Good Rare of Mine

Cooljammer is back with reasons why not to become a scammer on Animal Jam! Before we get started I have to quick things to say about scamming and one is a rare giveaway! Of, course you may be like giveaway totally a scam and hypocritical cooljammer! Well I decided to to have this giveaway because I want to encourage jammers to be able to speak up and tell if they have been scammed or if they have tried to scam someone, now that can be hard to admit that you were a scammer but, thats totally ok because everyone feels guilt and scammers today will eventually realize how wrong they were. But the most important part of being a scammer then quitting for good is that you learn from your mistakes. Then you'll have to go back and fix that and hopefully jammers will forgive you. This giveaway is suppose to help bring the spirit of animal jam to those who are losing faith of them selves, or people who just need to get rarer, and for fun. My goal is to help avoid more scammers and to help people stop scamming so here are the rules.
Rules are very simple

  1. Answer the question by commenting below Have you ever been scammed? and if so what was scammed? and, have you ever tried to scam someone? if so what did you try to scam? *Bonus* add their username. Be sure to include your username to if you would like be shared privately send me a jam a gram to my user iceskating112 saying something about the giveaway and your user you go by on blogger.
  2.  The person with the best answer wins a surprise rare! Submit your answer by Thursday March 3! Winners will be announced through a post on this blog Friday March 4 or Saturday March 5
Anyways there are many reasons why not to scam and here are the main ones

  1. You should not scam because just because you may be jealous that there is some jammer wearing a light pink headdress and a black long spike collar and wrist band and has like 12 black longs on trade with a den that consists of all 2010 den betas doesn't mean you should try to take their items and ruin the fun for that person
  2. When you scam someone and you actually got what you want you kind of feel like a little guilty and a little bit bad because you know it's not the right thing to do. Also when you scam and go the item it actually damages your confidence and makes AJ less fun for you.
  3. People on AJ will give you a new reputation of being called a "Scammer." On Youtube they'll be like OMG have you heard of this new scammer her/his username is gymnast1952 and this person scammed every time they go on. Note: that was just an example gymnast1952 is not a scammer in fact it's my other account
  4. People, it really just not right!!!!!Think about if your a scammer put your self in the target how would you feel if you lost your best item such as your black long or rare party hat. Would you feel very sad and unsafe and animal jam is suppose to be a fun game and safe game.
  5. You will be constantly be reported by players or people will contact ajhq by emailing them and ajhq will block you for a few days or a week and eventually if you get reported enough they can possibly delete your account and making a new one going through the scamming cycle isn't going to fix anything.
  6. Karma is very powerful thing. Karma happens anytime in your life so if you do bad things such as say mean things, scam bad things that will happen to you in the future such as worst situations in the real word such as someone scamming all your money but if you do great things great things will come your way. Think about it as a mirror they reflect what you look like, Karma reflects who you are in the inside and will have good or bad effects depending on how you run your life
Overall scamming is a very nasty thing to do

A New Scam on Animal Jam?

Hey guys cooljammer here! Bad news, yesterday I think I found out a new scam on AJ that I never seen before and I've been playing animal jam for about a year and a half now! Not a true, not a gift me I gift you well kind of a mix of both.
The scammer:
Ok, so what happened is that this jammer said giveaway my den and so of course like the usual everyone goes and says things like I call the black long, I call the headdress, I call the orange long, etc. About twenty people showed up and soon enough the person who was hosting the giveaway comes running along telling how he/she is getting to old for AJ and is going to collage. Then this jammer says there are "rules." Of, course people get excited and says ok, I believe in rules.
The rules were basically no negative comments and the object was to gift there best to win the spikes or the headdress, and there are 12 rounds, you get the all items back after. Yes this jammer seemed very honest and acted honest because two people received spikes from this person orange long, yellow long collar. they were of course very excited when they heard they won and someone later did tie breakers and won there spike wristband.
So this is wear I very messed up. I thought well since these jammers got the items well this jammer must be not scamming so I decided to join the contest, of course, I never won because I was never a rare jammer so I gifted the rare claw, rare curly wig, dingo drums, and a fountain thats beta. by the third round there was a major tie breaker people constantly gave everything they owned except there out fit just to get the item they wanted.
Well this is another fall down after awhile everyone said I'm running out of my good items so then this jammer was like I'm sure you all can win! People were asking for their items back. Well guess what two minutes later everyone was locked out including the people who the spikes. He/she never gave back the items not even sure the people who won got theirs back.
So I asked my friend what she thought and she said that maybe the people she/he gifted was the jammers own accounts or their friends from school since only like four out of twenty people got items and no one got items back. So I thought again about this situation that though everyone was locked out including the winners that she/he must have un buddied them and re buddied them later. Which means this jammer could have used her friends as her back up scammers and have been lying about growing old for AJ and going to collage.
